Responsibilities

The Radiographer plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through fluoroscopy, working within the established guidelines of Imaging Services. With a strong commitment to the Mission and Vision of St. Luke's Hospital, the Radiographer exemplifies professionalism in all aspects of their work. This includes upholding the philosophy and objectives set by the Board of Directors and Management Team. Key responsibilities include meticulously performing radiology procedures with attention to detail, addressing both practical and analytical challenges, effectively resolving conflicts, and driving positive, constructive changes to continuously improve patient outcomes and department efficiency.


Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certified.
  • Must have current permit issued by the Iowa Department of Public Health.
  • Experience with computer systems is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
