Great Hill Solutions is seeking a Consular Affairs Specialistin the DC Metropolitan area.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Ability to synthesize complex case data in CCD and Falcon to determine manifesting eligibility.
  • Determine whether a case is interview ready and has no flags that would hinder prompt processing.
  • Does the case composition make sense? Ages and eligibility.
  • Are the case members in the proper pathway?
  • If multiple pathways are possible, which likely is most efficient?
  • Need access to CCD, including "CA Person Finder" query.
  • Must be able to use and interpret queries in CCD and Falcon.
  • Must have Immigrant Visa experience in multiple tours, supervisory experience helpful.



Basic Qualifications:



  • Active Secret clearance.
  • MUST have at least 10-15 years in consular affairs or related work experience
  • Should have consular Fraud Prevention experience.
  • Should be familiar with the Afghan SIV application process and able to interpret information in the SQSIV database.
  • Must be able to train team in CCD use and results interpretation.
  • Should be able to develop wholistic understanding of cases.
  • Must be able to identify correct VO and overseas immigrant visa processing post POCs to address problem cases.
  • Must be able to advise CARE colleagues on consular questions.
  • Must be able to interpret 9 FAM and identify when to escalate questions to CA and/or L/CA.
  • Should be familiar with refugee processing and refugee eligibility.


Desired Skills:



  • Experience with immigrant visas in SCA or NEA will be most helpful.
  • Supervisor experience
