What you'll do:

As part of the Kyle Vision team, you'll practice in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art clinic, providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, visual and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and educate patients about their ocular health. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology such as Optomap, Visual Field, OCT, and highly-trained staff will support you throughout examinations-a typical day consists of 22 patient appointments. The position is part-time, offering up to 28 hours weekly.

You're a compassionate, dedicated professional who embodies a strong work ethic, has excellent time management skills, and can build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with patients. You have strong clinical skills and go above and beyond to improve the patient experience while also motivating team members to perform beyond their potential. The ideal candidate has experience managing glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, and other retinal conditions. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
