Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to serve multiple premier clients on a temporary project basis. This role is fully remote but requires availability to serve with team in Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours. Due to project requirements, all professionals serving must reside and perform all activities within the US.

• Assist to analyze how data systems are architected, designed, and deployed
• Collaborate with clients and team members to meet project objectives and timelines
• Help implement processes for data accuracy and reconciliation
• Analyze data processes for the Data Warehouse and internal systems

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or other related fields
• 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Expert level SQL
• Expertise in Python data engineering packages and patterns, including Python and PySpark
• Familiarity with the different data engineering platforms commonly used such as Fabric, Databricks, Synapse
• Strong cloud fundamentals, especially Azure
• An understanding of data modeling, relational, and non-relational principles
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
