The Sustainability Development Intern will be a critical part of the Corporate Affairs team, reporting to the Project Implementation Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market research and analyzing emerging technologies and trends in the transportation fueling, energy and sustainability space. Such research will be used to help identify potential partners, startups and technologies for collaboration or new business opportunities. You will also support the team in the creation of business cases and presentations on innovative technologies, services and strategies that are relevant to Global's customer base and markets. You may also help identify new customers and emerging markets.

  • Identify corporate interest in NE region that have ESG policy opportunities
  • Perform deep dives into trends that impact the energy and transportation fueling space, and identifying relevant stakeholders, collaboration partners, and potential business opportunities.
  • Suggest potential targets based on each corporation's situation. For example, highlighting corporations struggling to meet their sustainability goals, particularly in relation to their liquid fuel and consumption, and EV industry.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to address industry challenges.
  • Support the creation of business cases and presentations for proposed innovation and sustainability projects.

* Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.

* Passion for sustainability, innovation and emerging technologies.

* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

* Comfortable working collaboratively in a team environment.

* Be well organized and responsive to stated deadlines.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically with Excel.

* Attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while meeting expected deadlines.

* Strong work ethic and tenacity.
