As the Maintenance Technician III - Electrical, you will perform various functions related to electrical controls, equipment, and wiring in our plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of electrical components. You will read and interpret blueprints, remain up to date on local electrical code specifications, and help maintain equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.

You Will:

  • Run electronic tests and inspections, clean contacts or circuit boards, ensure grounding, and install outlets, lighting fixtures, and switches.

  • Take preventative measures such as oiling motors, bending conduit, and replacing old wiring.

  • Maintain logs and record labor, materials, and equipment usage.* Calibrate and check instruments.

  • Respond quickly and professionally to emergency situations.

  • Perform routine maintenance on production equipment and repair them.

  • Wire machines and electrical panels following blueprints.

  • Evaluate and recommend necessary repairs and maintenance.

  • Support customers by interfacing with them and performing equipment repairs.

You Have:

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
