Summary: In support of HVAC development programs, technician installs, tests, calibrates, and repairs electromechanical, and electronic measuring, recording, and indicating instruments and equipment for conformance to established standards, by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Conducts testing and calibration procedures per company standards in support of HVAC development programs. Sets up standard and special purpose laboratory instrumentation to test and evaluate HVAC equipment. Analyzes, diagnosis and modifies systems to support extensive R & D programs. Proactively engages in safe working habits following the applicable standards. Supports technical center initiatives by assisting with projects as assigned. Maintains effective communication with project team to assure performance of duties. Maintains cleanliness of work areas and ensures proper handling of tools, equipment, and stock to prevent loss. Supports department strategic development initiatives. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years related experience required or combination of higher education and experience. Two year technical degree in a related field preferred. | |
