Short Description

This is a full-time clinical position, but protected time for research (clinical/translational/basic) may be available for the right candidate. For those interested in basic research, bench space and access to resources will be available. Ongoing laboratory research in the Division of Neonatology includes studies on developmental pulmonary pathology.

Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper, located in Camden, NJ is a recognized leader in pediatric care.

Cooper University Hospital is a Level III Regional Perinatal Center and Trauma Center, well-known for providing high quality care. The hospital is easily accessed from multiple Southern New Jersey suburban locations or from Philadelphia by car or public transportation. Cooper University Hospital is the major teaching hospital for Cooper Medical School at Rowan University (CMSRU). We offer the largest pediatric teaching program in South Jersey.

Education Requirements

Children's Regional Hospital at Cooper and the Division of Neonatology at Cooper University Health Care seek candidates for a Neonatologist in the non-tenure, academic clinician track at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Qualified candidates should be board certified/board eligible in Neonatology. Candidates should be eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor or Professor at the Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with qualifications.
