Sentara Obici is hiring a Patient Transporter! This is a fexi position with the hours of 11p-7a

This position is located in Suffolk, VA.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Required: Patient Care - less than a year

As a Patient Transporter you safely escort and transport patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adhere to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicate clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensure adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

Job Summary

Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required) Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI Patient Care
