Operator

Overview:

SCCI is seeking a skilled Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Combat Systems shipboard operations, with qualifications as a watch-stander in a supervisor or controller sub-mode. This position is in support of future work expected in 2025.

This position is located in the following locations: San Diego CA, Norfolk VA, Mayport FL, Great Lakes, Yokosuka Japan, Rota Spain

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the execution of the system scenario program
• Providing simulator system operator support to control the simulations during training and readiness events
• Supporting loading, Verification & Validation (V&V), and operating scenarios
• Delivering post-event reports after the completion of lab events
• Developing or modifying existing documentation for scenario development, including Simulator Operators Handbook/SOP

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and havean Active Secret Security Clearance
• High School diploma
• Four (4) years Combat Systems shipboard experience including qualification as a watch stander in a supervisor or controller sub-mode
• Strong understanding of Combat Systems operations and maintenance
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
