Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator Location: Scottsdale, AZ Compensation: Up to $65,000 per year Employment Type: Direct Hire \| Onsite Vaco Phoenix is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Payroll Administrator for a client in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, invoice processing, and payroll administration for over 300 employees. Responsibilities: Oversee full-cycle bookkeeping, including invoice processing and bank transaction tracking. Record journal entries and assist with account reconciliations. Manage company credit card expenses and reimbursements. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. Ensure compliance with GAAP and maintain accurate financial records. Maintain organized documentation and contribute to process improvements. Handle vendor and internal team inquiries. Process bi-weekly payroll for 350 employees, including gratuity and tip distribution. Reconcile benefit deductions and wage garnishments. Collaborate with Operations to ensure timely payroll processing. Record payroll journal entries and generate payroll-related reports. Address payroll and HR-related inquiries. Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in accounting and payroll. Experience in retail, restaurant, or hospitality industries is a plus.
