Role: Principal Solutions Consultant, Electronics & High Tech Vertical Location: Remote, USA (Pacific or Mountain Time Zone Preferred) Travel: Up to 30% across North America; occasional visits to HQ Overview: As a Principal Solutions Consultant (SC) in the Electronics & High Tech (EHT) vertical, you'll be a strategic technical leader driving pre-sales engagements and shaping enterprise transformation for some of the world's most innovative companies. You'll collaborate closely with sales teams to identify customer pain points, qualify opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions that align with business priorities. This role blends deep industry expertise with technical acumen across PLM and ALM domains, ensuring a seamless customer journey from discovery through implementation and beyond. Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Validation Partner with sales to qualify opportunities, validate technical requirements, and ensure proposed solutions align with customer goals and strategic initiatives. Technical Leadership & Sales Enablement Lead internal and external technical resources during pre-sales phases. Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of PTC's solutions. Trusted Advisor Serve as a subject matter expert in electronics and semiconductor product development, offering strategic guidance and thought leadership to customers and internal teams. Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, advocating for customer success and ensuring high satisfaction throughout the engagement lifecycle. Business Development & Growth Identify expansion opportunities, drive adoption of PTC solutions, and contribute to annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth. Market Intelligence Capture evolving customer needs and provide feedback to inform product development and innovation. Qualifications Industry Expertise Extensive expertise in product development and supply chain operations specific to electronic and/or semiconductor technologies, with a strong grasp of industry workflows, challenges, and lifecycle processes. Experience 10-20 years in technical sales, consulting, IT administration, or product development. Proven success supporting enterprise digital transformation software solutions such as PLM, ALM, CAD, ERP, or MES. Technical Skills Strong understanding of enterprise software implementation and governance. Experience with PLM and ALM solutions is highly preferred. Communication Exceptional presentation, interpersonal, and persuasion skills. Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with PLM or ALM solutions (as a user, seller, or administrator). Familiarity with PTC solutions is a plus but not required. Why Join Us? PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate's background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $109,000 - $164,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant.
