Enterprise Solutions Architect

Sentinel is looking for a Enterprise Solutions Architect to join our team to assist our sales team with demand generation, opportunity qualification, and completion of sales cycle. This position is for a generalist skill set where the successful candidate is capable of multi-product/multi-technology customer designs. In this role you will maintain a specialist level knowledge of multiple technologies, architectures and delivery platforms. A successful candidate will possess the business acumen to understand the customer business drivers and needs in addition to understanding both technical and financial project drivers while balancing the architecture between them. This role will also present and explain to prospective clients the multi technology architectures in business terms and value proposition as well as articulate low level technical design elements to customer admins and engineers. This position can work remote occasionally but will require onsite support at our MI client locations and our office in Grand Rapids, MI.

IT Certifications such as CCNA (EN or S), CCNP (EN or S), VCP, PSE-Professional, PCNSE, NSE4, MS-101, or equivalent, are preferred
• 5+ years' experience in technical fields is required.
• Experience with Value-added Resellers, Systems Integrators, or Technology Manufacturers is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in addition to the ability to develop social bonds and build EQ is required
• Demonstrated experience designing and architecting premise network, security, and data center products from multiple manufacturers. Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Dell/EMC, HPE preferred.
• Ability to discuss security design principals such as Zero Trust Networking and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) for both WAN and data center environments and then create designs for customer projects resulting from these discussions.
• Must be able to compare/contrast/analyze offerings between multiple manufacturers.
• Must have experience scoping professional services for project delivery.
• This position will have a large SLED market segment focus and will be responsible for responding to SLED and Erate RFP's.

• Must be able to diagram/whiteboard/sketch technology discussions live and "on the fly" with customers and peers.
• Author detailed, technically accurate professional services scopes of work. Scopes include customer requirements, project caveats, customer and VAR roles and responsibilities.
• Experience with building solution and technology accurate Bills of Materials for customer projects across 4 or more manufacturer or technology areas, including ongoing service and support SKUs.
• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
• A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
