Knife River - Casper Division is accepting applications for Asphalt Paving Crew positions for our construction services operations. Positions to be filled include labor, screed operator, roller operator, dump man, and paver operator. These are full time positions located in Casper, Wyoming. The normal work week is Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed to maintain schedule totaling 50 to 60+ hours per week.



  • Persons shall demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform asphalt paving operations including operation of pavers, screeds, raking, shoveling, and layout to efficiently/consistently achieve smooth, quality asphalt on parking lots, streets, and highways.
  • Persons shall be able to work safely and follow all company policies.
  • Persons shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel and to perform all duties safely and productively to ensure quality work.
  • Operators shall have the ability to conduct daily equipment inspections to identify any safety and maintenance issues.
  • Persons shall be willing to work extended hours and expect some travel/out of town work.
  • Successful candidates shall become a team player with timely and consistent attendance.


Applicant must possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a qualifying driving record under company policy. Applicant must successfully pass a post offer pre-employment drug test and physical. Ability to operate different types of equipment is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking. Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
