Heavy Assemblers-1st Shift- Milwaukee

Position Summary

In this role you will maintaining production and delivery schedules for manufacturing and production of retarders (in-track braking systems), and service parts orders. Assembly position consists of moving around to workstations, standing for duration of workday and repetitive lifting.

Specific Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining and following safety standards
• Keep a clean and organized workplace.
• Assist co-workers as needed.
• Assembles sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Use a wide range of hand tools including, but not limited to: cordless drills, thread taps, combination wrenches, tape measure, carpenter square, pry bars, combination square, pneumatic impact guns and sledge hammers. Build, test and inspect job assignments performed

• Sit down forklift experience.
• Overhead crane and hoist experience.
• Good relations, communication skills ad able to interact well with co-workers and management
• Able to work in a team environment and be willing to work flexible hours and weekends as required
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent attendance
• 1-2 years of prior assembly experience.
