Job Description

Your new role

As our new Consultant, you will be part of our interdisciplinary Florida team. You will work with all levels of expertise from junior-level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Conducting Occupation Health Exposure Assessments
  • Conducting Indoor Air Quality Assessments
  • Asbestos, Mold, and Lead, Assessments and Remediation Project Oversight
  • Interpreting industrial hygiene results as compared to OSHA PEL and ACGIH TLVs and provide recommendations on mitigation of air/noise exposures.
  • Critically reviewing and interpreting Indoor air quality industry recommendations and governmental regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintaining client relationships and managing the development of deliverables to meet client needs in an efficient manner.

About you

  • BS/MS in a relevant engineering discipline (industrial hygiene, occupation safety, or closely related) or science discipline (chemical, environmental science, or closely related).
  • 2+ years of relevant industrial hygiene or indoor air quality experience is required.
  • Strong mathematical/computational skills including high-level use of spreadsheets and word processing and effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills.
  • Current or interest in pursuing AHERA-Certified Asbestos Inspector and Florida Mold Assessor Licenses
  • Experience recording/writing detailed technical data and reports.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 40% of the time on average during the year and possess a valid driver's license. Travel may include overnight stay and may be out of state.
