What You'll Do Develop AI centric backend and mid-tier services in a distributed services environment Integrate and leverage systems and models from our machine learning and data science teams Work on high performance, low latency, fault-tolerant software Code in multiple languages in a zero to one product cycle, i.e. develop the initial version of software Work closely with initial customers, product management and design. Standard software development responsibilities across the full life cycle of software development extending through quality assurance, deployment and devops. What you need to succeed BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent 5+ years of experience Familiarity with machine learning and AI systems, especially in the context of data flow and pathways for model improvement, would be a valuable asset Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals specifically - algorithms and data structures Extensive experience working in a distributed systems SaaS environment Experience developing in Java, Scala or Python Thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment as a self-starter with a "can do" attitude Desire to learn new technologies and work on the leading edge Make savvy tradeoffs between expediting work while not incurring undue technical debt Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $133,900 -- $242,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP). In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
