V3 Sports is a nonprofit located in vibrant North Minneapolis, focused on elevating our community through wellness, fitness, and education! Thanks to our amazing partners, donors, and incredible community members, we have been making waves in Minneapolis, serving over a thousand families since 2007.

Founded as a non-profit in 2007, the mission of V3 Sports mission is to elevate our community through wellness, fitness and education. In 2024, V3 Sports opened Phase One of the V3 Center, a 40,000 square foot health and wellness center that will grow to be a North Minneapolis community asset and a regional destination. The focus of Phase One is to provide a place for Northside residents of all ages to access water, state of the art fitness equipment, physical rehabilitation and enjoy healthy and delicious food offerings.

Phase Two, which V3 Sports is actively fundraising for, will be a regional destination for sporting events, career fairs, community events, and other drivers of economic stability. At the V3 Center, Northside young people and families will access programming that supports their career and economic aspirations and builds the skills they need to make their dreams reality.

Wages and Benefits

$19 per hour; generous paid time off (PTO), plus 11 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays; competitive health, dental, and vision insurance. There is employer paid basic life insurance with the option for additional coverage paid by the employee. The employer pays for Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and short- and long-term disability insurance. V3 Sports sponsors a retirement plan with a 4% employer match and immediate vesting.

A Typical Day in the Life...

A typical day as V3 Sports's Membership Program Assistant provides an opportunity to support the Membership Manager by mentoring team members, ensuring excellent customer service, fostering an inclusive atmosphere, and contributing as a knowledgeable, energetic, and self-directed team member. Responsibilities include the following:



  • Greeting guests warmly and professionally.
  • Ensuring members and guests check in properly and receive services.
  • Handling POS operations and transactions using Mindbody software.
  • Demonstrating a helpful and solution-focused attitude.
  • Understanding V3 Sports membership policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with cash handling tasks, such as deposits and change orders.
  • Promoting a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment.
  • Supporting daily operations, planning, and special projects as assigned.
  • Monitoring and responding to emails promptly and professionally.
  • Handling opening and closing procedures.
  • Training and mentoring Member Services representatives.
  • Managing staff schedules when needed.
  • Overseeing the credit card tampering log and checks.
  • Tracking and reporting senior health programs like Silver Sneakers.
  • Auditing membership attendance and following up with inactive members.
  • Reviewing and updating membership contracts for accuracy.


Who You Are



  • Preferably, you have previous experience in a customer facing role.
  • You have strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • You can work a minimum of 12 hours per week.
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You can work successfully in a team-based, collaborative setting.
  • You have a thorough understanding of nonprofit practices and a serious work ethic.
  • You are highly organized and detail oriented.
  • You are able and willing to maintain current CPR, First Aid, AED, and BBP certifications. (For new hires, training will be provided during onboarding.)
