Pathologist Specialist

Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Pathology Specialist at The Orlanda VA Medical Center in Orlanda, Florida. This contract position offers:

Freedom from outside pressures to increase patient visits or maximize billing
• Focus on being a physician, not running a business or managing staff

• Analyze laboratory results and tissue specimens to diagnose diseases.
• Prepare and analyze tissue samples for pathological examination.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards.
• Assist pathologists in interpreting test results.
• Keep detailed records of laboratory findings.

Job Requirements:

The Pathologist will have the following requirements:

• Current board certification by the American Board of Pathology or the American Osteopathic Board of Pathology.
• Shall have 24 months of experience within the last 36 months.
• BLS and ACLS certifications
