90% FTE, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday with one half day per week. No weekends or holidays. You will be working at University Hospital in Madison, WI with cross coverage as needed to Eastpark Medical Center. This position is hybrid with the opportunity to work form home at times after orientation - frequency varies and dependent on operational need.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:



  • Work in a fast-paced ambulatory setting with a strong team of RNs, medical assistants, advanced practice providers, and physicians.
  • Care for a variety of adult patients within acute care and general surgery, minimally invasive surgery, surgical oncology, and trauma surgery service lines.
  • Triage live patient phone calls, provide pre-op teaching, and provide primary support for the surgical oncology providers and patients within the clinic.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Applicable clinical certification Preferred
