Columbia University's Department of Genetics & Development invites applicants for the Associate Research Scientist position. Candidates should have strong scientific and postdoctoral experince. Responsibilities will include running a vibrant and independant research program, preforming indepedant research, help and supervise the bioinformatic analysis of ongoing projects, trainning and mentoring graduate students, postdocs, technicans, and an active participant in all Program and Department activities, including participation in grant proposal development and manuscript publishing.

Minnimum Qualifications:



  • Applicants must have a Ph.D.,M.D., or equivalent degree.
  • At least two or three years of postdoctoral research experince.
  • The applicant must also be capable of conducting research independently with minimum oversight, and supervising graduate students and technicans.
