Summary: This position will report to the Local Area Sr. Manager, support other area Managers and Supervisors, and will be located in Cambridge, IA. Will support company goals and objectives related to all elements of safety, emergency response, Industrial Hygiene, regulatory compliance, safety auditing, contractor safety, and training. Work to develop consistency across the company in the development and application of company procedures and policies. Work individually and as part of the safety team to support and provide customer service to Field Safety and Operations personnel. Assist with the management of company safety programs and with the development of company standard operating procedures (SOP) and training programs. Assist with creation and adherence to all safety regulations and policies. Assist with or lead incident investigations as needed. Review incident and near miss reports within his/her area of responsibility for accuracy, consistency, and effective corrective actions. Areas of responsibility will be in Iowa and Illinois but may work in all areas of safety as required by the needs of the department.
