Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Engineer in Washington / IvyCity, WA, US we're looking for?


Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your seasoned and specialized expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and collaborative teammates. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation by ensuring the highest levels of industrial performance for Next Generation High Speed Trains. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Supply Chain/Sourcing, Quality, Fleet planner, Depot planner), setting up industrial activities and defining and deploying maintenance processes, and much more."

We'll look to you for:




  • Demonstrating confidence and working knowledge of assigned duties while interfacing directly with the customer,



  • Creating comprehensive Work Instructions, with associated standard tasks lists and standard times,



  • Ensuring the availability of special tools and the accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BoM),



  • Guaranteeing that the industrial means are aligned with the maintenance needs and train design,



  • Conducting validation on the field when necessary,



  • Targeting the highest levels of Industrial performance within Alstom Production System (APSYS),



  • Coordinating tightly with the teams contributing to TSSSA execution: Engineering, Supply Chain/Sourcing, Quality, Fleet planner, Depot planner, and Alstom central organization,



  • Introducing the Work Instructions and their updates to the Amtrak production team,



  • Contributing to the achievement of Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) activities, validating the train product documentation, special tools, and supporting maintainability demonstrations on Amtrak sites

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.,



  • Experience or understanding of industrial engineering in a railway maintenance or manufacturing environment.,



  • Knowledge of Methods Engineering and maintenance work instruction development.,



  • Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP for Bill of Materials and Configuration Follow-up.,



  • Proficiency in drafting and CAD tools like AutoCAD, Pro-E, CATIA, or Solid Works.,



  • Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings.,



  • Experience with Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) deployment.,



  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in the English language.,



  • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams and interface with all internal and external stakeholders.,



  • Knowledge of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.



  • Minimum of 2 years experience
