Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking a Customer Experience/Corp Events Specialist who is responsible for supporting our Marketing organization and Daikin's position as the premier HVAC solutions provider in our industry. While this role supports the full marketing team, its primary functions are on the Corporate Events team, reporting to the Manager of Corporate Events. Location: Hybrid, This role will office at the Faribault North Facility Customer Experience Center on days when Representatives are visiting (between 1-9 visits per month), and remote work from home on remaining days. It requires occasional travel to Plymouth for specific event support or high-priority visits to the Applied Development Center. What you will do:
- Customer Visits: Coordination and in-person management of customer visits to any of the (4) MN factories to ensure visitors have an exceptional experience; schedule sales team members, product experts, and plant managers using Smartsheet work management platform; advise on visit agenda and logistics; maintain the technology and condition of the Customer Experience Center Showroom; maintain website updates that reflect the MN factories; evaluate and submit visit reimbursement requests by following published protocol.
- Corporate Apparel & Promotional Items: Manage the corporate apparel and promotional item sourcing and fulfillment for specific event needs. Coordinate with vendors and 3rd party partners to customize branded goods, place orders, and manage inventory
- Customer Events: Coordinate shipment of event materials to and from event destination, order supplies and manage inventory. Support the excellent execution of 50- to 1,500-participant events nationwide as needed.
- Maintain basic knowledge of Daikin's products and solution
- Administrative support to marketing and communications work streams as needed
Qualifications:
- High degree of professionalism with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Desire to support and be an integral part of a team known for its high standards and reputation for creating extraordinary events
- Must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact with outside Rep firms
- Demonstrated example of taking initiative with a solid work ethic
- Outstanding relationship management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry may be a small % of the job.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Minimum Qualifications:
- 2 year Associate's Degree
- 3 years customer-facing experience in the events field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, power point)
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4 year degree
- 4 years customer-facing experience in the events field
- HVAC industry experience
- Office admin a plus
- Working knowledge of Smartsheet or other project management software

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000- $74,000 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
