Position Summary

Medicine and Health Sciences Center is seeking an incumbent that will
contribute actively to the climate of diversity & inclusivity. We invite applications for an open rank, open track full-time faculty
position in Gynecology
. UNM's Gynecology Division has a busy clinical
practice, and is active in research and education.

The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center is the largest

Mexicans with the highest level of healthcare. The School of Medicine at HSC is celebrated

west, is renowned for its fantastic weather. Outdoor activities are abundant and the cost

breathtaking sunsets, multiple cultural and historic sites, lakes, rivers,
deserts and mountains.

The successful incumbent must meet the listed minimum requirements and
provide a current curriculum vitae at the time of application and a
demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as
well as working with broadly diverse communities. This position offers a competitive
compensation (salary commensurate with experience) and benefits package to
include health, professional liability and disability insurance, relocation
support, retirement plan, and CME support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • M.D. or D.O. degree or equivalent
  • Board certified or eligible by the American Board of Obstetrics and
    Gynecology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in NM, State of New Mexico Board of
    Pharmacy certification, and federal DEA registration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching students and residents
  • Clinical skills and scholarly activity
  • Experience working within a managed care environment
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Experience or interest in research activity and career development
  • A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and student
    success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
