FTE: .01 Shift: Day Schedule: Clinic Schedule Position Summary The Social Worker Oncology Specialist Coordinator is responsible for exemplary care coordination of oncology patients across the continuum of care, psychosocial assessments, and psychosocial interventions. The Coordinator is responsible for leading a team of Social Work Specialists by mentoring, scheduling, practice standardization and training to achieve the vision and goals of Oncology. This individual works with physicians, peers, community colleagues, and others to orchestrate care within the cancer centers and across the health care continuum, to identify opportunities to continually improve patient care and services, to improve health of the oncology population, and to achieve collaborative practices that exemplify MultiCare Health System's commitment to patient centered care and community engagement. Requirements Master's Degree in Social Work Licensed in the state of Washington as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW) Licensed Social Worker; Associate Advanced (LSWAA), or Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC); or commitment to obtain within 30 days of hire and the LICSW or LASW within 3 years Oncology Social Work Certification preferred Minimum five (5) years of recent oncology care and or relevant community/outpatient experience Health industry knowledge preferred Healthcare financial assistance knowledge preferred Leadership experience a plus Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $39.06 - $56.22 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
