Audio Visual Specialist - On Site - Plymouth, MN Make your mark at the world's largest HVAC company! Daikin Applied is seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to support our corporate offices in Plymouth! In this position, you will be responsible for administration, repair, maintenance, and operational support of site audio visual systems, applications, and local & centralized infrastructure. You will provide technical support for all requirements in the planning, design, coordination, repair, maintenance, operation, and implementation of releases, upgrades, or changes to audio visual systems, A/V applications, and local A/V infrastructure. In addition, you will provide direct audio-visual operational support to employees, specifically Senior Leaders and high visibility stakeholders during internal & external meetings. You are responsible for making repairs and coordinating the work of specialists when more complex repairs are needed. You will schedule maintenance or repairs to minimize disruptions to organizational operations wherever possible. Strong customer service skills are a MUST! - Primary on-site technician with knowledge and skillset to 99%+ issues in rooms
- Provides first- and second-line analysis and response to incident and service request tickets submitted by internal business users
- Provides operational support and audio-visual troubleshooting for employees, specifically Senior Leaders and high visibility internal and external meetings
- Provides excellent customer service and communication skills, with a predisposition to de-escalate situations during technical failures
- Directly supports company Senior Leaders and external senior leader stakeholders in scenarios ranging from high stress live broadcast events to daily business needs
- Supports and administers audio-visual systems, applications and local infrastructure components or assists in the support and administration of more complex audio-visual systems, applications and local infrastructure components
- Assists in taking system inventories and building documentation for audio-visual systems, applications and local infrastructure
- Responsible for creating and maintaining system images and standards for audio-visual systems
- Handles hardware and software orders generated from client requests or regularly scheduled ordering cycles
- Responsible for routine tasks of repairs, updates, and preventative maintenance on equipment
- Regularly leads AV system upgrade and replacement projects through combination of self-performed and contracted labor. Performs supplier selection, cost analysis, and general project management
- Supervises external AV production companies for events or services when needed
- Will periodically participate in on-call and after hour support duties on an as needed rotational basis

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ Years of Corporate/Educational AV support
- Thorough knowledge of large scale AV systems including MS Teams and Zoom
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service skills

This is a non-exempt, hourly position. The typical hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.72 - $39.23. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual hourly pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
