Your Role

Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a passion for design and innovation? We are looking for a Design Engineerwho is excited to develop and design centrifugal compressor components that make a real impact. If you are a Mechanical Engineer with a knack for CAD software and a desire to work in an environment that values creativity and collaboration, we want to hear from you.

As part of the Core Engineering team, you will report to the Core Team Leader and work closely with our Core Engineering and Systems Engineering teams. This is a hybrid position located in Voorheesville, NY.

As a Design Engineer:

• You will develop, design, and detail core components and assemblies for compressors.
• You will prepare models and detailed drawings using PTC Creo.
• You will perform engineering calculations related to compressor design.
• You will provide technical support to manufacturing, application engineering, and service and participate in solving field problems.
• You will review and aid in the design release approval process.
• You will maintain accurate design records and schedules.
• You will attend kick-off meetings and design reviews.
• You will handle project administration and support budget management.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in design-activities using 3D modeling software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct engineering calculations.

• The total base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $110,000 annually.
