Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for four TS/SCI Cleared Network Engineer III

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:



  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience, or 13+ years or more of practical experience, in network management.


Experience:



  • 10+ years experience in network environment management.
  • DoD 8570/8140 compliance or information assurance certification commensurate with technical objectives and services required within the task order.
  • Applicable software or hardware training and certifications commensurate with the technical objectives, services required, and IT environment specified within the task order.
  • Cloud Certified.
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.


Job Description:

Designs, implements, maintains, and troubleshoots computer networks, ensuring reliable communication and data exchange, while also focusing on security and performance.

Maintains engineering knowledge and assists in the development of documentation that supports the Systems Engineering Technical Process and Systems Engineering Technical Management Process IAW DoD 5000-series Acquisition polices, DoN systems engineering policies, and other applicable MARCORSYSCOM guidance. Documentation includes, but is not limited to, the following in accordance with CDRL A001, Engineering Documentation:



  • Systems Engineering Plans
  • Program Environmental
  • Safety and Health Evaluations
  • Safety documentation
  • Test and Evaluation Strategies
  • Requirement Traceability Matrixes
  • Cybersecurity Assurance Strategies
  • Information Support Plans
  • SW Development Plans
  • Architecture Views


Shall have a working knowledge of expeditionary and garrison SCINet systems, specifically SCINet network, workstation, storage, commercial cloud, data engineering, data management, data design and Enterprise Service systems and connections.

Essential Duties of the Job:



  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
