The Warehousing & Logistics Manager is a pivotal role at Air Liquide, requiring collaboration with order management, planning, production, quality, and other Air Liquide affiliates to ensure high customer satisfaction while optimizing supply chain operations. The role requires a combination of material management & flow optimization, cost control, inventory management and regulator & trade complianceThe annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $120,000 - $150,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Essential Job Responsibilities: - Developing, standardizing, and optimizing processes, procedures, and material flow in ALAM facilities and third-party warehouses, focusing on material handling, storage, shipping, receiving, inventory, and returns. - Leading facility layout design, system integration (SAP), and continuous improvement projects using lean, six sigma, and engineering methodologies. - Overseeing daily order/shipment status, inventory management, warehouse capacity, 3PL performance, and order fulfillment rates to maintain operational excellence. - Collaborating with planning and production teams to enhance overall operations capabilities and cost savings. - Ensuring regulatory/trade compliance, risk mitigation of supply chain disruptions and adherence to safety regulations and SOPs (including IATA, IMDG, Import/Export trade compliance and local regulatory requirements based upon chemicals in inventory). - Lead and manage a team of logistics and warehouse personnel, warehouse SOPs, training certifications, documentation, projects, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for seamless operations. - Ability to think critically and respond swiftly to supply disruptions, safety events and ALAM's overall ability to meet or exceed supply expectations. - Conduct thorough analysis of existing warehouse processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity. -Optimize warehouse layout, material flow, and inventory management to minimize bottlenecks and maximize throughput. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and effective resource utilization. __________________ Are you a MATCH?Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher (Preferably Supply Chain,Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or Management) or extensive knowledge of Logistics, Distribution & Warehouse management 7+ years of Logistics/Warehouse experience preferred Highly organized individual with demonstrated ability to learn, collaborative problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and strategic analytical skills ASCM certification, certificate (or similar) or the ability to obtain such items within 12 months of hire Experience with lean six sigma methodologies, and warehouse management systems.
