Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago ( LUC) Stritch School of Medicine is seeking an energetic full-time academic Dermatologist. Requirements include board eligibility/certification, strong commitment to teaching medical students and residents and an interest in clinical or translational research.

The Dermatology clinical services are located at Loyola's Oak Brook Terrace, Burr Ridge and Homer Glen locations. These Dermatology specialty sites offer procedural services including five non-ablative lasers, Fraxel Dual Laser, Ulthera, micro needling, Mohs micrographic surgery, phototherapy and photodynamic therapy. The clinical practice serves a diverse patient population and includes surgical, cosmetic and pediatric services as well as inpatient consultations. The preferred candidates will serve as faculty in our ten-person residency program and will be active within our research unit.

Having delivered compassionate care for over 50 years, Loyola also trains the next generation of caregivers through its academic affiliation with Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine and Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. Established in 1961, Gottlieb is a 247-licensed-bed community hospital in Melrose Park with the Judd A. Weinberg Emergency Department, the Loyola Center for Metabolic Surgery and Bariatric Care and the Loyola Cancer Care & Research Facility at the Marjorie G. Weinberg Cancer Center. MacNeal is a 374-licensed-bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, an inpatient skilled nursing facility and a 68-bed behavioral health program and community clinics.
