Intern- Business Development

This position requires working onsite in Lake Zurich, IL 3+ days per week.

Must commit to 10 weeks of internship.

Support the Business Development Managers by providing assistance in the following tasks:

• Maintain lead generation listing and business opportunity metrics tracking in PowerPoint by extracting the data from Salesforce software tool.
• Supporting Fresenius Kabi marketing campaigns, sponsored conferences, and local networking events to expand market knowledge, competitive intelligence, and contacts.
• Liaise with internal resources to obtain information necessary to develop and issue proposals to potential clients
• Assist with identifying new business leads and business opportunities through the use of LinkedIn, Salesforce, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university program; pursuing a related degree preferred in Science, Engineering or Business
• Be classified as a minimum of a sophomore
• Must be planning to return to school at the end of summer
• Must commit to 10 weeks full time internship
• Proficiency in tools and processes, such as Microsoft Office
• Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to influence and collaborate with peers.
• Project management skills are a plus.
• Up to 25% travel required; travel is dependent on meeting growth/revenue targets.
