Base Compensation Range: Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus and some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining pay, we consider various factors including, but not limited to, skills and experience. POSITION SUMMARY: Performs credit analysis to evaluate the credit risk and loan quality of business lending prospects and existing borrowers in the Business Banking Group. Analyzes financial statements; develops and analyzes cash flow information; prepares comprehensive credit summaries and makes recommendations. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED SKILLS: Thorough knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, credit policy, applicable laws and industry data sources. Excellent financial analytical skills with sound judgment and decision-making abilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Abrigo/Sageworks Credit Risk Software. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Work is often performed in an office environment. Ability to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer, exchange information, move inside and outside the workplace for business purposes. Required to travel locally. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in accordance with Webster Five's Remote Work Policy. MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, or related discipline. PREFERRED PRIOR EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in credit analysis in the financial services sector. |
