Base Compensation Range:

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus and some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining pay, we consider various factors including, but not limited to, skills and experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of duties in support of the Operations Department with the main focus being Ach Processing. Completes routine deposit related back office tasks as well as complex operations activities. Conducts research to resolve account issues. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Maintains confidentiality of bank records and customer information. Works independently under the guidance of the Operations Manager to perform the functions of the position.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs all functions supporting the daily operations of the Operations Department relating to deposit accounts, EFT, wires, IRA, POD, statements, ATM, ODP, RDC, NSF's, as they relate to both consumer and business accounts.
  • Processes routine and complex transactions including reviewing/processing rejected items, wires, general ledger/account reconciliations, and ATM/ACH/POS/POD items. Addresses inquiries, disputes, researches and resolves issues.
  • Performs deposit account documentation reviews; ensures proper documentation is submitted and verifies any inconsistencies are resolved.
  • Maintains deposit account file records; accurately images documents and files accordingly.
  • Processes bank-wide purchasing requests, returns and invoices.
  • Sustains current working knowledge of all internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements. Successfully completes required compliance training.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, maintains a cooperative and professional manner with internal and external customers.
  • Reports to work as scheduled in professional attire.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Strong communication, analytical and customer service skills. Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of MS Office. Ability to perform multiple tasks and manage workflow within established guidelines.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS to WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL: Normal office requirements. Ability to lift heavy documents weighing up to 25 lbs. Frequent use of office equipment requiring manual dexterity and visual attention. Extensive repetitive finger and hand movements. Work is often performed in an office environment with frequent interruptions. Ability to stay in a stationary position, operate a computer, exchange information, move inside and outside the workplace for business purposes. This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement in accordance with Webster Five's Remote Work Policy.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School or General Education (GED) Degree

MINIMUM PRIOR EXPERIENCE: 2 - 4 years deposit operation experience or related experience.
