Multiple positions available. Develop and maintain distributed applications. Develop quality code and automated tests. Utilize data structures and design patterns. Participate in agile software development life cycle from story grooming through detailed design, coding, functional testing, code review and retrospectives. Provide support in conguring and troubleshooting applications and providing implementation best practices to development. Perform implementation with modern technologies and integration architecture disciplines including hybrid cloud, APIs, streaming technologies, event-driven systems, self-service data platforms, and analytics to meet business needs. Perform implementation with containerization and container orchestration. Perform implementation with SOAP/REST building APIs. Perform implementation with AWS services. Telecommuting may be permitted up to 3 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to Western Union LLC at 11902 Burnet Road, Suite 350, Austin, TX 78758. Salary: $132,267 to $151,800 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Electronic or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, Software Developer, Software Engineer, or any occupation/position/job title involving software development.

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience utilizing React/Redux or Angular, and SOAP/REST building APIs, ES6, and Typescript; 2 years of professional experience utilizing modern technologies and integration architecture disciplines including hybrid cloud, APIs, streaming technologies, event-driven systems, self-service data platforms, and analytics to meet business needs, troubleshoot applications and provide implementation utilizing best practices to development; 2 years of professional experience utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Postgres; 2 years of professional experience utilizing data structures, design patterns, Java, C#, Rest, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Spring batch, and Kafka; 2 years of professional experience utilizing CI tools including Cloudbees, CD tools including Spinnaker, Jenkins, SonarQube analysis, CheckMarx, XRAY, and Swagger; and 1 year of professional experience in AWS services API Gateway, Fargate, EC2, ALB, NLB, S3, Apache airflow, and Capella.

Referral Bonus - $500 (Subject to Employee Referral Policy). Eligible to internal employees only.

Annual base salary gross: $132,267 to $151,800 USD. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
