Position Title: Child/Adolescent Clinical Psychiatrist

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry, is seeking Clinical Psychiatrists for Child/Adolescent for the COMMUNITY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER (CBHC) outpatient clinical services.

Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists to provide core clinical services in the new Boston Medical Center (BMC) CBHC program. Psychiatrists will provide thoughtful, comprehensive, and acute based assessments, psychopharmacology services, working closely with an interdisciplinary team including recovery and peer specialists, mental health clinicians, psychologists, advanced practice providers, and case managers for comprehensive treatment planning. This is an opportunity to participate in the statewide effort to redesign and innovate access to ambulatory behavioral health care, as a member of a growing academic department with opportunities for research/educational contributions.

This is a faculty-appointed position to join our growing team. Our values and mission continue to drive our stronghold of excellence in patient care, education, and research. Both newly trained and/or experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists are welcome to apply. Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists are members of the faculty at Boston University.

The Department of Psychiatry, located at our main campus in Downtown Boston, has a range of ambulatory-based clinical opportunities reflective of an exciting period of departmental growth. We are expanding our care for a diverse, underserved patient population facing a range of behavioral health and often co-occurring physical health conditions. We are seeking skilled, passionate, mission-driven psychiatrists who are looking to make an impact.

  • Medical Degree
  • Board eligible/certified in Psychiatry
  • Child & Adolescent Fellowship trained
