Security Professional - Access Control

As a Security Professional - Access Control in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas within the food and beverage location, helping to deter security-related incidents. Your presence will be crucial in maintaining a secure environment, and you will be expected to provide outstanding customer service and communication. This position may require an armed guard card/license, and experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and adhering to site-specific policies.
• Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.
• Engage in emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter potential security-related incidents.
• Collaborate with team members to address any access control issues that arise.
• Document and report any irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Assist in maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors by monitoring access points.

Minimum Requirements:

• Florida Security Professional Guard Card required.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License; this is a preferred qualification.
• Have experience with Access Control/Badge systems; this is a preferred qualification.
• Possess a Guard Card/License; this is a preferred qualification.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
