Position: Tax Associate

Overview:
Are you ready to jumpstart your career in tax and accounting? We're looking for a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual to join our Finance team as a Tax Associate. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are ready to grow in a supportive, fast-paced environment where your contributions truly matter.
As a Tax Associate, you'll play a key role in keeping our multi-entity, multi-state tax filings and compliance processes running smoothly. You'll gain hands-on experience with a wide range of tax and accounting functions while working alongside a collaborative and experienced team.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and file sales tax returns across multiple states and entities
- Support annual reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions
- Help calculate and prepare 1099 forms
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax filings and mailings
- Process tax payments and confirm on-time remittance
- Keep documentation and spreadsheets organized and up to date
- Tackle special projects and additional duties as needed
Experience you'll bring:
- A solid foundation in accounting principles and a genuine interest in tax
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A proactive mindset and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
- Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Internship or part-time experience in tax, accounting, or finance
- Experience assisting with tax filings or document preparation
