The successful candidate must hold an MD degree and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology, and fellowship-trained in endourology and stone disease medicine. The ideal candidate must be experienced in the surgical and non-surgical issues unique to the population management of urinary stone disease. The candidate must have recognized skills in the education of Medical Students, Residents and Fellows. All candidates must have or be able to obtain a California medical license. All requirements must be met by the start date. An exemplary track record of patient care and an active interest in clinical, translational, or basic science research or education is strongly preferred. The position will be filled in a rank and series commensurate with experience. The position will be based primarily at the UCSF Medical Center at Parnassus. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The guaranteed annual salary for this position starts at $350,000. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. Total compensation is dependent on the final candidate's appointment series, rank, and step. Annual compensation ranges from approximately $450,000 to $650,000.
