Job Posting: Journeyman Electrician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. As a key member of our electrical department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing devices
• Ensure all electrical installations meet local and national electrical codes
• Mentor and supervise apprentice electricians
• Collaborate with other trades and project managers to complete projects on time
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Valid General Journeyman, LME, MPE, Electrician licenses required
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician
• Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
• Experience commercial and industrial electrical systems
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
• Capable of standing, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods
