The Sales Engineer will be responsible for direct sales, sales development through regional sales representatives, inside sales support. Will manage business and customer development in a defined geographical region. Will be responsible for sales of all Huettinger's products related with plasma process (sputtering, etching, etc.) and induction heating fields. Will maintain and strength loyalty of existing customers. The primary responsibilities include as well prospecting and customer qualification.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sell all Huettinger products in the assigned region directly or through regional representatives. Co-operation with TUS Sales force.
  • Develop and sustain the sales business according to the assigned budget level.
  • Provide technical support as needed to achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare detailed sales and activity business reports after each customer visit. Continuous working on company CRM tool.
  • Produce and maintain market information relevant to territory. Reporting competitors' activity and new potentials on the market in the other regions (including the entire world).
  • Prepare detailed short term and long-term sales forecast.
  • Prospect and qualify potential new companies for Huettinger equipment in the assigned territory.
  • Promote and sell Huettinger products at defined product trade shows and events.
  • Assist/Host customer demonstrations. Manage systems tests in the region.
  • Co-operation with other Huettinger departments.
  • Assist, as necessary, with in-house duties such as shipping, receiving, accounting, spare parts inventory and related office duties.
  • Travel expected - more than 7 visits a week. Occasional international travel.
  • If necessary, help with 24-hour customer support line. 24-hour pager response.

Experience

Two years' experience in Sales, Marketing or related business would be useful. Applicant should have a background in a manufacturing area/industry.

Education

Associate's degree or higher strongly preferred, an added experience as mentioned above strongly desired. College or university in Physics, Material Sciences or Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience would be strong argument. Desirable industry experience includes semiconductor wafer fab equipment, plasma processes, DC and RF power supplies, induction heating.
