Overview

As a Senior DevOps Engineer in Corporate Bank Technology, you will play a critical role in building and operating a strategic data platform that consolidates terabytes of data from 50+ systems and distributes it across mission-critical applications. You will engineer the infrastructure, automation, and deployment pipelines that enable timely, high-quality data delivery across interfaces such as Kafka, REST APIs, BigQuery, and GCS. In this role, you will design hybrid solutions across Public Cloud and on-prem environments while driving platform reliability, scalability, and security. You will join a collaborative engineering team where your expertise directly strengthens the stability and performance of the Corporate Bank's global data ecosystem.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with external engineering teams and stakeholders to define the platform's evolution and target architecture
  • Estimate, prioritize, negotiate, and plan infrastructure changes and enhancements
  • Design and implement automated processes for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows
  • Manage and automate infrastructure compliance activities related to information security
  • Re-engineer deployment solutions to align with the target state, ensuring alignment with SDLC standards
  • Collaborate with development teams to enable automated deployment, recovery, and observability

How You'll Lead

  • Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to influence platform direction and drive adoption of best-in-class DevOps practices
  • Engage with product, architecture, and security stakeholders to ensure infrastructure and automation align with bank-wide standards
  • Guide teams through the evolution toward hybrid cloud, containerization, and automated operations

Skills You'll Need

  • Proficiency managing Linux-based servers and network services in production environments
  • Proven experience automating deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle or ClickHouse (preferred)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
