Atlas Copco is seeking a dedicated and innovative Optimization Engineer to join our team within the Compressor Technique business area. As a key member of the engineering department, you will focus on enhancing the performance of our compressor systems and delivering top-notch solutions to our customers.

About the Role:

In the role of Optimization Engineer, you will be directly involved in conducting compressed air audits aimed at optimizing the efficiency and performance of our clients' air systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills, as you will analyze system operations and develop actionable improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive compressed air audits for customers across various industries to assess system efficiency and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Analyze performance data and system configurations to provide tailored recommendations that enhance energy savings and operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to deliver customized solutions that meet customer specifications and enhance satisfaction.
  • Be an active participant in customer meetings, presenting findings and optimization strategies while addressing client queries effectively.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in compressor technology, ensuring the application of best practices in all projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of training programs for customers on efficient compressor and air system use.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in engineering roles, preferably within the compressed air or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders.
  • A passion for energy efficiency and sustainability in engineering practices.
