Salary Range Starting At: $43,888 Job Description: As the Divisional Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, supervising, and fostering relationships with volunteers in support of division-wide events for fundraising and awareness efforts in Indiana. The position will ensure that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out. What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position. Education: High School Diploma required; BA or BS degree preferred. Background Checks: Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed. Experience: Experience in planning, facilitating, and directing volunteer activities and special events. Certifications: Must have a valid driver's license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver's qualification standard; must complete Safe from Harm training within the first 90 days of employment; must complete training in Turbo Stats and Better Impact within the first 30 days of employment; must complete Introduction in Emergency Disaster Training within the first 60 days of employment. Meet all Department of Transportation requirements to operate Salvation Army vehicles to be completed within the first 60 days of employment. Skills/Abilities:
Supervisory Responsibility: Supervise volunteers at various events as requested by local leadership. Travel: Extensive travel across state of Indiana required. Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office environment; may require some weekend and evening work; special events are often off-site and can be both indoor and outdoor.
