Join the forefront of financial journalism with LSEG's LPC, the hub for syndicated loan intelligence worldwide. We're seeking a motivated, top-tier journalist to join our diverse and dynamic team to cover the intersection between the broadly syndicated leveraged loan market private debt coverage.

Based in downtown NYC, our correspondent will be the driving force behind narratives for Loan Pricing Corp, LSEG's Workspace platform, and the prestigious IFR Magazine. You will craft compelling news articles in the leveraged and private debt sphere, weaving thought-provoking insights into your analysis that won't just inform, but will craft the landscape of private credit.

You have unparalleled people skills and an interest in forging connections. You'll thrive on the front lines, mixing with bankers and direct lenders, all while crafting articles that resonate across borders and asset classes.

You will flex your news-breaking muscles on LPC and IFR's real-time platforms, delivering sharp coverage, generating engaging content, and staying on top of market movements. Your instincts will be your compass as you guide readers through the "why" behind every market shift.

Connect with the who's who of global banks, sponsors, and investors, and collaborate with our international network of expert journalists across various asset classes. In this role, there's no such thing as business as usual - every day is a chance to redefine the beat.

Essential skills include reporting experience in credit markets, excellent writing, and interpersonal abilities, and an understanding of financial markets and investment banking. Experience covering the private credit market is a plus.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $95,400 - $159,000. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match. LSEG's Benefits plan also includes basic life insurance, disability benefits, emergency backup dependent care, adoption assistance commuter assistance etc.
