About This Role
The Office of the Registrar seeks to fill an IT Support Specialist II position. This position serves as a primary member of the Academic Technology unit within the Office of the Registrar. This position supports internal office functions and university administrative systems and requires a working knowledge of all areas with the unit; cross-trains with other departmental functions to facilitate support and coverage. This position demonstrates quality service, innovation, creativity, ethical and proactive behavior, and a working knowledge that includes but is not limited to the following areas: * Class and room scheduling Tasks may include coding/encoding, system development, database architecture/configuration and setup, troubleshooting and problem-solving, running batch processes, reporting and system analysis, query creation and data pulls, security, training and help aids, documentation, running integration jobs, and testing upgrades, enhancements, and new features. Following a successful probationary period, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work experience allowing up to 3 days remote.
