Some events are on weekends and after hours. Job Summary: The Research Assistant III assists with research work tasks of higher-complexity in support of a research project under minimal supervision. May assist with ordering equipment and supplies, set up of equipment, performing experiments, monitoring results, data collection, preparation of support materials, etc. May supervise students and/or other support workers assigned to the research project. Additional Department Summary: Responsible for conducting and assisting with the design of research experiments, managing IRB applications, participant recruitment and scheduling, data acquisition and analysis, and manuscript preparation. Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of research support experience; OR associate's degree and two (2) years of research support experience; OR bachelor's degree or higher and some research support experience. Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends to accommodate participant and/or project schedules. Skills and Knowledge: Computer proficiency is essential. Experience programming is useful but not required. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferably in psychology or neuroscience. Experience working with human subjects preferred. Experience with psychological assessments and working with individuals with psychosis, substance use disorders, or dementia and stroke.
