Apply Full-Time / Part-Time Full-Time Career Level Experienced Non-Manager Job Description VPT, Inc., has an immediate opening for an IT Administrator II at our Blacksburg, VA location. This position will be an integral part of our IT team. The IT Administrator II will be responsible for supporting and maintaining existing infrastructure and support the IT team in projects to further the goals of the IT department. This position does require occasional travel to other VPT offices. After hours and on-call support is also required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform routine maintenance and backup of IT systems and networks Assist in IT projects and initiatives Research and evaluate improvements to current IT solutions Mentor and train junior IT staff Carry after-hours phone and handle advanced troubleshooting Providing training to end users VPT, Inc., offers an excellent benefits package available upon full-time hire including health and dental insurance, 401K, disability insurance, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, paid holidays and paid time off.
