First Responder - Full Time Nights - Norman, OK

Position: First Responder

Location: Riverwind Casino - Norman, OK

Hours / Shift: Full-Time Nights, 40hr/week

Overview:

Staff a First Aid station, responding to injury and illness calls in staffed facilities. The First Responder is responsible for the initial care and assessment of patrons and employees of staffed facilities or events.

Job Duties:

• Responds to calls of illness or injury, providing First Aid to a variety of patrons and employees.
• Provides initial contact with patients in the casino and first Aid Station, responsible for initial triage and documentation.
• Provides initial emergency care based on assessment.
• Activates the 911 system when needed and assists the EMS staff in patient care.
• Maintains, cleans, and prepares the First Aid Station rooms and equipment.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Current AHA CPR status.
• Other: Basic office and computer skills. Radio and telephone communication skills essential. AED training.
