The Senior Product Owner shapes and advances the product direction by translating highlevel strategic objectives into actionable plans that drive measurable business value. This role translates complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical requirements, ensuring teams are equipped to deliver highquality solutions efficiently. Serving as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, the Senior Product Owner prioritizes the product backlog, guides decisionmaking using data and impact analysis, and fosters shared understanding across functions. The position ensures that product outcomes support operational efficiency, customer experience, and longterm strategic growth.

Additional Details:

• Own the product vision and ensure alignment with business outcomes and organizational goals to deliver quality digital solutions.

• Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Build, maintain and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Use data, impact analysis and business value to make informed prioritization decisions.

• Ensure features are clearly defined with acceptance criteria that provide actionable direction for technical teams.

• Proactively manage scope, dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs to deliver maximum value and support informed decision making.

• Convert complex business requests into clear, concise user stories and technical requirements.

• Break down highlevel concepts into structured, digestible components that enable efficient development and sequencing.

• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects and QA to ensure understanding and feasibility
• Support solution design efforts by providing business context, validating technical approaches, and ensuring solutions meet intended outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Relevant certifications (CSPO, PSPO, SAFe PO/PM) preferred but not required

• Minimum of 8 years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role

• 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment

• Experience supporting custom-built internal applications, 3rdparty/vendor platforms, or a mix of both

• Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including refinement, sprint planning, and dependency management.

• Working knowledge of system architecture, data flows, and technical feasibility considerations.

• Skill using modern product tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) for transparency, workflow management, and continuous delivery.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to evaluate options, anticipate impacts, and guide teams toward valuedriven outcomes.

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to quickly absorb complex information, ask the right questions, and form wellreasoned recommendations.

• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to maintain clarity and focus in environments with changing priorities.

• Excellent communicator who can tailor messages for diverse audiences, facilitate understanding, and build alignment across teams with a shared understanding.
